"I’ve never encountered such an unprofessional and irresponsible insurance company. They’ve been putting accidents under my name instead of my brother’s, and now third parties are showing wrecks on my record. One of these accidents happened when I didn’t even have State Farm. When I spoke to Michael Howell, he told me I’d have to fix it myself with the third party even though it was their fault. His employees even claimed they’d reached out to the third party in the past to handle it, but that’s a lie. To make matters worse, I received a letter in the mail saying my policy was being canceled. One of the accidents that wasn’t mine was listed as a reason for the cancellation. I wouldn’t recommend going to them because when they mess up, it’s your own responsibility to fix it. This insurance agent was particularly horrible. Since this was their fault for putting the wrong information on my record, it seems like they don’t care to contact the third party to rectify the situation since I’m getting my policy canceled. They have the proof that shows I wasn’t the responsible person for the wrecks, yet they’re not willing to do anything about it. If I could, I would give them zero stars for how unprofessional they were in handling this matter and the little they did to help fix it with the third party. In Response to StateFarm: Thank you for responding. I want to clarify that my concern has never been about your office’s professionalism, but about the ongoing impact of inaccurate third-party reporting that originated from an insurance claim not involving me. I understand that agents cannot directly edit third-party databases, and I also recognize that correcting such records requires a formal dispute process. My frustration stems from the fact that despite internal records being correct, the inaccurate information continues to affect my ability to obtain insurance coverage, which indicates the issue has not yet been fully resolved across all reporting channels. I am actively taking steps to address the matter with the appropriate reporting agencies. My goal has always been an accurate and complete correction so that my record reflects the facts. I appreciate the time your office has spent reviewing this matter and hope it can be fully resolved soon."

The information within State Farm’s systems and claims records is correct and has been verified multiple times. The issue you are referencing does not originate with our agency or State Farm, but with a third-party reporting vendor (such as LexisNexis or another consumer reporting service used by insurance carriers when quotes are pulled). These companies operate independently, and neither agents nor State Farm have the authority to alter their records directly. If we had the ability, we would have done so the first time you requested us to do so. We have explained multiple times over the last year that the appropriate resolution requires the third-party reporting agency to correct their data, which is a standard industry process and not something an insurance agency can override. You’ve expressed that you have not completed the steps on your end to have them altered either. We understand this situation is frustrating, but it is inaccurate to state that our office placed incorrect information on your record or refused to help. We remain committed to professionalism, transparency, and accuracy, and we stand by the documentation confirming that our records are correct. We wish you the best in getting the third-party data corrected."

"Michael and Jennifer have always gone above and beyond to help me with whatever I’m doing. I’m always buying or selling something so they are always adding insurance to something I’ve bought or taking it off something I have sold. Recently had to file my first claim and they were by my side through everything answering my questions and doing what they could to get the most out of my claim. The most important thing to me is being able to talk to them on the phone anytime I need them and being treated like part of the family and not just another customer. "Great Customer Service ! I had an experience of 2 payments posted on my account because “I”requested a payment method change. Called Michael Howell agency and a real person answered the phone.. Very rare in this Day & Time. The office assured me with confidence that the payment would be refunded immediately. They apologized politely and sure enough the payment was refunded . I have known Michael for little over 19 years. My family is insured with him as well. Although my family is located in another county , his agency managed the transfers and policies for us. The world is full of anxiety but this agency is so good about showing me a better perspectives."

"Michael Howell and his associates never contacted me to discuss my policy before they cancelled it. They have never answered their phone. I had to make run around calls to State Farm customer service to even get this local firm to contact me. And funny enough it worked because that’s when they sent me a text message, and Jennifer the Manager sent me the number to call. From the beginning she was really rude on the phone. She claimed that they don’t have to send emails, make calls out to inform the policy holder of underwriting issues before they cancel the policy. It’s also funny how I got a email today, with an email recipe of them talking about my policy cancellation on October 16th when I called about it on the phone and she claimed they don’t send e-mails out… Yeah.. I don’t care what the other reviews say on here. I don’t trust this firm or their agents and I’m glad to not be with them. I would give a 0 star if I could."
